Soane Britain has also secured the future of traditional crafts such as rattan weaving - they actually revived the last remaining rattan weaving workshop left in England.
Founded by Christopher Hodsoll and Lulu Lytle in 1997, Soane Britain launched with a collection of British designed and made furniture and lighting and the principles of ‘elegant proportions, bespoke materials and the integrity of the manufacturing process.’
Now Soane Britain collaborates with around 30 British workshops including black smiths, saddlers, cabinet makers and upholsterers to make over 300 designs including furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers and accessories.
Alongside their showrooms in London, New York, San Francisco and Atlanta, Soane Britain offers a consultative service, Soane Bespoke, for those clients who would like to work with Soane Britain to create individual commission
