About Farrow & Ball | Wallpapers

1946 in Verwood, Dorset. Chemist John Farrow meets engineer Richard Ball, and they bond over a shared passion for making rich colours with the finest ingredients. Just like that, Farrow and Ball is formed. After building their first factory, they would go on to supply paint for Raleigh Bicycles, the War Office and Ford Motor Company. But this was just the beginning. After the setback of a fire in their original factory, the company picked themselves up and grew in strength, moving to their current home in Wimborne and developing under the leadership of Martin Ephson and Tom Helme. Since then, they have been making artisanal wallpapers, made their entire range of oil based paints to eco-friendly water based finishes, launched an online interiors magazine, ‘The Chromologist’, and transformed the look of countless modern and traditional homes around the world.
