Born out of a love of classic and modern cars, David Brown Automotive was founded in March 2013.
Combining classic and elegant designs of the past with modern, state-of-the-art engineering and technology, David Brown Automotive defines itself as a coachbuilder for the 21st century.
Hand produced in Great Britain using British-sourced premium materials and traditional artisan craftsmanship, each vehicle is built to order and David Brown Automotive strives to meet every request from the client, no matter how unique.
Believing that no two cars are the same, customers are invited to be part of the design process and are encouraged to work with the team to develop their own exterior paint colours, unique interior trim and colour scheme.
David Brown Automotive offers three models. The first, the Speedback GT, was inspired by a classic car rally in the South of France but also draws on Sixties’ icons including Riva speedboats, Aston Martins and the Jaguar E-Type.
Following on from the success of the Speedback GT, the second project is the Mini Remastered by David Brown Automotive which combines the iconic look of the 60s with the Speedback GT design cues, unique coachbuilding construction, modern technology and luxury materials.
The Speedback Silverstone Edition, a pure performance Grand Tourer for the 21st century, takes inspiration from the dawn of the jet age and classic racers from the 1960s and is limited to a run of only 10 production cars.
