Listique’s Recommendation

At Listique, we feel that pieces with legacy and history stand head and shoulders above products without history. Albert Amor only deal in products with plenty of history; the firm once sold the dining saloon suite from the cabin of Admiral Lord Nelson on H.M.S. Victory. Today, their products span the higher echelons of porcelain and offer the finest and most cultivated products with rich histories.

About Albert Amor | Decorative Arts

Albert Amor have been dealing in the top end of the decorative arts field since they were founded in 1905. In the beginning the firm dealt in a more general range of goods, before becoming expert dealers in 18th and 19th century English and Continental porcelain more recently. The founder, Mr Amor, built a reputation as ‘the’ authority on English porcelain in their early years, assisting mostly private collectors in acquiring the finest pieces. Today, the firm continues to deal with private collectors from all over the world, who build up their collections either by commissioning the firm to bid on their behalf or through specialised themed exhibition. In the spring and autumn, Albert Amor host themed selling exhibitions that are well worth visiting. The firm are Royal Warrant holders by appointment to HM The Queen as Suppliers of 18th Century Porcelains.
