Listique’s Recommendation

The East India club needs no introduction, having been a bastion of London’s clubland for almost two centuries. Steeped in history, the club boasts a selection of traditional and opulent rooms for business, socialising and of course, smoking. We love their traditional values and social focus, perfect for the discerning gentleman who still wants sociality out of a membership.

About East India Club | Private Members'

Situated in the heart of London, this gentleman’s club was originally founded in 1849 by members of the historic East India Company and commissioned officers of the army and navy. Everything one could need is under one roof; there are 67 bedrooms, a formal dining room, bars, a gymnasium, snooker room, business centre, library, drawing rooms and private rooms. In addition to the extensive facilities on offer, the club has several sports sections including Rugby, Billiards, Rowing and Chess amongst others. Since its early days, the club has amalgamated with several other clubs including the Public Schools Club and the Devonshire Club. Their reciprocal arrangements with similar clubs around the globe means members always have an international home away from home.
