Salon Prive Concours & Luxury Car Festival 2025
An ultra-luxury motoring garden party set at a UNESCO World Heritage site, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025.
Overview: Salon Privé features a Concours d’Elegance (with 50–60 of the world’s rarest classic cars on display and in competition ), supercar exhibits, high-end car launches, and even a stylish classic car parade. It’s as much a society event as a car show – think Champagne and hats amid rows of Ferraris, Bugattis, and Lamborghinis on the palace lawns.
Tickets: Day tickets (~£325) include entry, a gourmet lunch, afternoon tea, and Pommery Champagne in the enclosure – very much an all-inclusive hospitality model for all attendees. Enhanced VIP packages or private tables can be booked for larger groups (with options like a reserved pavilion). Key themed days include Concours judging day, Ladies’ Day (with prizes for best hats), and the new Supercar Saturday and Club Trophy events.
Travel Tips: Blenheim Palace is about 1.5 hours drive from London. Many guests arrive in style by driving their own classic or supercar convoy (there are owners’ club parking corrals). Parking at the palace is included for ticket holders. If you prefer public transport, take a train to Oxford or Hanborough and a taxi from there (~20 min).
Dress Code: Salon Privé encourages elegant dress. Men tend to wear smart jackets, often with bright trousers or pocket squares for a dash of flair. Ladies embrace the garden party atmosphere with chic summer dresses and millinery – especially on Ladies’ Day, where fabulous hats are on display (and sometimes rewarded). Comfortable luxury loafers or wedges are common given you’ll be walking on grass.
Insider Tip: Make time for the Luxury Retail Village on site – many haute horology (watch) brands, jewellers, and fashion houses have boutique displays and sometimes offer exclusive Salon Privé editions. If you attend Thursday (Ladies’ Day), participate in the informal hat competition for fun – the organisers and judges roam to pick winners. Lastly, the Concours awards parade (usually Friday afternoon) is a highlight: winning cars drive up in front of the palace – grab a spot early by the winners’ podium for the best view and photo ops of these magnificent machines with the Baroque palace backdrop.
