Travel Tips: Blenheim Palace is about 1.5 hours drive from London. Many guests arrive in style by driving their own classic or supercar convoy (there are owners’ club parking corrals). Parking at the palace is included for ticket holders. If you prefer public transport, take a train to Oxford or Hanborough and a taxi from there (~20 min).

Dress Code: Salon Privé encourages elegant dress. Men tend to wear smart jackets, often with bright trousers or pocket squares for a dash of flair. Ladies embrace the garden party atmosphere with chic summer dresses and millinery – especially on Ladies’ Day, where fabulous hats are on display (and sometimes rewarded). If you attend Thursday (Ladies’ Day), participate in the informal hat competition for fun – the organisers and judges roam to pick winners. Lastly, the Concours awards parade (usually Friday afternoon) is a highlight: winning cars drive up in front of the palace – grab a spot early by the winners’ podium for the best view and photo ops of these magnificent machines with the Baroque palace backdrop.
