Insider Tip: If you’ve done Ascot in general admission, try upgrading to Windsor Enclosure on a sunny day in 2026 – it has no formal dress code and a closer view of the Royal Procession route, making for a fun, less formal “garden party” vibe where you can bring a picnic (yes, picnics are allowed in Windsor Enclosure with some restrictions). But gentlemen, even without a required code, you won’t feel out of place in a light summer suit. And ladies, a fabulous hat is always en vogue at Ascot, even if the Windsor Enclosure technically allows more relaxed attire.
