The tradition continues with another summer of opera in black tie. 2026’s programming may include new productions (perhaps a modern opera premiere alongside classic Mozart or Puccini staples).

Tickets: Membership still your best bet for the hottest tickets. Public booking will open March 2026; certain popular operas will sell out that day.

Insider Tip: Make your dining or picnic arrangements when you book tickets – Mildmay and Nether Wallop (the whimsical names of restaurants on site) will fill up. And if you missed a Festival ticket, consider Glyndebourne’s Touring Opera in the autumn as an alternative (a taste of the magic without the dress code).
