In 1909 they were granted their Royal Warrant on behalf of King George V and held The Royal Warrant to Her Majesty The Queen Mother until her passing in 2002. The pharmacy has maintained its royal connection, not only being the pharmacists to the Queen but also holding the secret recipe to, and a sample of, the famous anointing oil used when a new sovereign is crowned.
