Founded in 1937 by Harvey Benson and Thomas Clegg, the tailor is the proud holder of two Royal Warrants. In 1944 they became the official tailor of HM King George VI and in 1992 from HRH The Prince of Wales they were granted a further warrant for the supply of buttons, badges and military neckwear. Shortly after its inception, Benson & Clegg decided to bring their own unique style of tailoring to customers. They branched out and began making menswear accessories such as cufflinks and buttons all inspired by their tailoring heritage and dedication to classic men’s formal wear.
