Located in Hexagon Classics (a classic car showroom and official dealer of some of the most sought after brands) The Engine Rooms is headed up by James Harrison and Michelangelo Farina (both formerly at Taka Marylebone) and is serving up a Mediterranean inspired menu using responsibly sourced ingredients. Split across two levels and featuring a generous heated courtyard with retractable awning, the restaurant, like the showroom, features an impressive collection of modern art. Fish is the order of the day here, with considerably more fish dishes than meat when we visited - we feasted on the likes of wild sea bass, served with saffron Israeli couscous, crisp apple, baby red vein sorrel and a tarragon bass sauce.
