Albert Amor have been dealing in the top end of the decorative arts field since they were founded in 1905. In the beginning the firm dealt in a more general range of goods, before becoming expert dealers in 18th and 19th century English and Continental porcelain more recently. The founder, Mr Amor, built a reputation as ‘the’ authority on English porcelain in their early years, assisting mostly private collectors in acquiring the finest pieces. Today, the firm continues to deal with private collectors from all over the world, who build up their collections either by commissioning the firm to bid on their behalf or through specialised themed exhibition.
