Located in London's St. James' neighborhood, The Carlton Club is a private members-only club. It is one of the city's oldest and most prominent private members' clubs and was established in 1832. The club was founded and is named after the Carlton House, the Prince Regent's former mansion that once stood where the present club structure is now. Some of the most significant politicians in British history, such as Margaret Thatcher, Winston Churchill, and David Cameron, have been members of the club.
There are several meeting rooms available for use by members, as well as a dining area, a bar, and other amenities. The club's skilled chefs make a variety of gourmet delicacies for the dining room's patrons, and the bar serves up a good selection of wines, spirits, and other beverages.
