Caroline Flack's Life Celebrated at Festival, Flackstock

Summer in Britain it’s synonymous with festivals. From boutique foodie festivals and highbrow literary festivals to the big headliners like Glastonbury and the truly niche, when it comes to festivals, Britain is the place to be. And now there is a new festival joining the line-up which is importantly raising awareness of mental health issues.

Flackstock is a one day festival which will celebrate the life of much-loved TV presenter Caroline Flack and raise money for mental health charities with a line-up of comedy, dance and music. Organised by a committee of Caroline’s family and friends including her mother Christine, sister Jody and friend, Dawn O’Porter, Flackstock will be taking place on the 25th July in the beautiful grounds of Englefield House, Pangbourne Berkshire.

And whilst the full line-up is yet to be announced, we now know that there will be performances from pop favourites Fleur East and Louise Redknapp, and Masked Singer winner Natalie Imbruglia. Celebrities set to make appearances on the day include Professor Green, Dermot O’Leary, Keith Lemon, Paddy McGuinness, June Sarpong, Matt Richardson and Joel Dommett. It’s a great line-up already and still many more acts to be announced!

Donations raised from the event will be split between four charities that were all important to Caroline: Choose Love - supporting refugees and displaced people; Mind - ensuring everyone has access to mental health support; Samaritans - the 24/7 crisis support helpline, and Charlie Waller Trust - helping young people to understand their mental health.

As Caroline’s mother Christine says:

“My Caroline was never more herself or happier than at a music festival with her sister and her friends. Flackstock is the wonderful idea of those who knew her best and the perfect way to remember her singing, dancing and most of all laughing. Not only is Flackstock the most positive way to honour Carrie, but charities that she loved will benefit from the proceeds.”

With lockdown restrictions now lifted, we can't wait for a summer of festivals and partying at Flackstock!
