It's unlikely any of us could have predicted that in 2020 we would be saying 'keys, wallet, phone...face mask' as we left the house. If you're planning on using public transport, taking on Uber or have a hospital appointment and you haven't got round to buying a face mask yet (or you don't fancy going Blue Peter style and making your own one) then take a look at these face masks. Not only are they reusable (we don't need our streets or landfills littered with disposable masks) but by buying one of these masks you'll be donating to charities which are helping to support those affected by Covid-19.

With four layers of breathable, anti-odour and dust proof material, Reiss’ face mask is not only pretty stylish as far as face masks go, but also wonderfully comfortable. The unisex mask features adjustable ear loops and a wire system along the top edge to ensure a snug fit. If you’re buying it in the UK then the profits from each sale will be donated to NHS Charities Together, whilst profits from those bought in the USA and Canada will go towards Feeding America and Food Banks Canada.

The BFC x Bags of Ethics

‘Great British Designer Face Coverings: Reusable, for People and Planet’ is a campaign between The British Fashion Council and Bags of Ethics which aims to raise £1 million with 100% of profits split between the charities, NHS CHarities Together, BFC Foundation Fashion Fund and Wings of Hope Children’s Charity. To do so, they’ve called in six British designers to each create a mask which is made from luxury GOTS certified organic cotton sateen and features not only adjustable ear straps and a protective pouch but also an anti-fog fit which is a must for those wearing glasses or sunglasses. Choose between a pack of 3 face masks designed by Julien Macdonald, RIXO and Liam Hodges or a pack by Mulberry, RAEBURN and Halpern.
