Blenheim Palace Horse Trials

The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is an annual eventing competition that takes place in the parkland of Blenheim Palace, located in Oxfordshire, England. The event attracts top international riders and horses from around the world, and is a popular event in the equestrian calendar. The horse trials consist of three different phases: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. Riders and their horses compete in each phase over the course of several days. The dressage phase involves a series of precise movements performed by the horse and rider, while the cross-country phase is a test of stamina, speed, and bravery as riders navigate a course of jumps and obstacles across varied terrain. The show jumping phase is a test of precision as riders and horses tackle a course of obstacles in a specific order, without knocking any over. Alongside the competition, it also features a range of entertainment, including shopping, food and drinks, and family-friendly activities.

The Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials has a long history, dating back to the 1990s, and has helped to promote the sport of eventing and equestrianism in the United Kingdom and beyond.
